SmartBrix Construction is PEB Corp Group's turnkey construction unit. One contract covers architectural and structural design, fabrication at the group plant, shipping, and erection. It also includes the supporting civil works, from foundations through finishes.
The goal is to keep quality, design, cost, and schedule in balance on every project. SmartBrix builds with two systems: steel framing (cold-formed steel, LGS/CFS) for permanent buildings and prefabricated modules for rapid deployment. Both are designed in BIM. Steel framing uses CNC profiles from the group plant; modules are factory-built with MEP integrated.
SmartBrix contracts and delivers the project to the client, with PEB Corp engineering and steel that NewCon Steel® manufactures at the group plant. From the headquarters in Panama City and the office in Bogotá, Colombia, SmartBrix builds in Colombia and Panama and accepts inquiries for projects in Central America and the Caribbean. Since 2009, the PEB Corp Group has delivered 350+ projects in sectors such as education, healthcare, industrial, defense, and housing.

PEB Corp Group is a Panamanian industrialized steel construction group with 350+ projects and 15+ years of track record in Panama, Colombia and the Caribbean. It comprises three brands: PEB Corp (Pre-Engineered Buildings Corp, S.A.), the parent company providing structural engineering, BIM design, institutional relations and export; SmartBrix Construction (SmartBrix Centroamérica S.A.S.), the construction unit delivering turnkey Steel Framing and modular projects; and NewCon Steel® (NewCon Steel Corp.), the manufacturer of cold-formed steel (LGS/CFS) profiles, panels and structural kits at the group's CNC plant in Centro Industrial PEB, Las Mañanitas, Panama City, under the EMMA regime. The group holds ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 37001 certifications.
SmartBrix Construction contracts and delivers the complete project, with PEB Corp engineering and NewCon Steel® steel, under the group's integrated management system. SmartBrix Construction is not a block or brick manufacturer; it builds steel buildings.

Manufacturer of cold-formed steel (LGS/CFS) profiles, panels and structural kits and cold-formed bolted structural steel. It does not build buildings.

Portfolio projects belong to the PEB Corp Group and were executed by SmartBrix Construction with PEB Corp engineering. On some, the structure was fabricated at the group plant (NewCon Steel®, in operation since 2018); on others, the group only installed it.
CNC fabrication in Las Mañanitas, Panama City.
The group's CNC plant at Centro Industrial PEB, Las Mañanitas, Panama City, has been in operation since 2018. Today NewCon Steel® runs it under Panama's EMMA regime (Law 159 of 2020), which allows duty-free import of machinery, raw material and inputs. The plant has a production capacity of 20,000 m² per month. Published monthly plant capacity is not a delivery promise for an individual order. Profiles are made of Zn-Al-Mg 275 g/m² steel (ZM275 to EN 10346 / ZMM275 to ASTM A1046), formulated to resist corrosion in tropical climates, to a ±0.5 mm fabrication tolerance.
From Panama, the group plant ships cargo directly to Central America and the Caribbean. A Panamanian certificate of origin (HS 72.16) is available to the importer; import treatment is decided by the destination customs. Components and flat-packed modules are optimized for containers and shipped to the site, where the SmartBrix team handles erection and civil works through final handover.

Beyond the group's certifications, structural and MEP design is verified against the codes of each jurisdiction: NSR-10 in Colombia, REP-2021 in Panama, IBC as the international reference, RETIE for electrical systems in Colombia, and AISI S100 for cold-formed steel design.
Quality, safety, and environment in a single policy.
The Integrated Policy of SmartBrix Centroamérica S.A.S. directs process-based management toward meeting client needs and expectations on time, with quality and reasonable costs, supported by a competent workforce.
That commitment includes compliance with applicable occupational health and safety and environmental legislation and requirements; hazard identification, risk assessment, and controls at every workplace; and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System's effectiveness and performance — with worker consultation and participation, environmental protection, and pollution prevention.
The policy applies to every workplace and every company worker, regardless of contract type or engagement, including contractors and subcontractors.

SmartBrix delivers each project under one contract, in four linked phases, with one team accountable for the schedule.

Every project starts as a Revit model. Clashes are caught in the model before they reach the site, and permit documents are prepared for each jurisdiction.
